JOB DESCRIPTION
As part of the Supportability Team, Persides Ltd is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Supportability Engineering Consultant to work on Defence, and other industries, system and sub-system projects on behalf of major contractors. This work may require work off-site on a range of projects.
The successful applicant will form part of a Supportability Engineering Team (SET) and will be involved in all aspects of ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), including Reliability & Maintainability (R&M), Testability & developing Support Analysis (LSA) Records. His / her role will involve the preparation for and support of Reliability and Maintainability Logistic Demonstrations.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
LSA(R), Life Cycle Costs, Level of Repair Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Data Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System, Spares Ranging and Scaling, R&M Modeling and Assessment, Testability Analysis. The successful candidate will be required to represent Persides at Customer meetings and manage/liaise with lower-tier subcontractor\'s, in the generation of source data / formal data deliverables.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience is more important than qualifications however; HNC or equivalent in an engineering related discipline would be expected. At least 5 years professional experience in ILS, experience in application of ILS to large scale system programmes, good working knowledge of relevant defence standards in particular Def Stan 00-60, Def Stan 00-44, Mil Std 1388-2B, Mil Std 1629A, Mil Std 2165, Mil Hdbk 471A, Mil Hdbk 472, Mil Std 785, Mil Std 756, Mil Std 470); experience in the use and manipulation of LSARs, OPUS10, RELEX ARM tools would offer the applicant an advantage; ability to use Microsoft Office tools. MOD SC cleared or be prepared to undergo the vetting process.
DESIRABLE OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in scientific or engineering discipline; Experience in working in a consultancy role; UK MOD support practices; military systems or similar domain; Contractor Logistic Support; experience in ILS Management; Programme Management experience.

As part of it\'s Supportability Team, Persides Ltd is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced AR&M Engineer to work on Defence, and other industries, system and sub-system projects on behalf of major contractors. This work may require work off-site on a range of projects.
The successful applicant will form part of a Support Solutions element of the Persides business and will be involved in all aspects of AR&M Engineering. His/her responsibilities will be extended to generating AR&M related requirements for inclusion in the SRD, SSRD and Procurement Specifications, develop SoWs for COTs, MOTs and dev items AR&M Programmes
The successful applicant will also be required to develop individual programme strategies for hardware and software systems. His/her role will involve the preparation and definition of AR&M tasks and work packages including generation of AR&M engineering estimates, AR&M Schedules, AR&M requirements management (Prime and Sub Contract) and overall management of AR&M programmes. The successful candidate will be required to represent Persides at Customer meetings and manage/liaise with Lower-tier Subcontractor\'s, in the generation of source data / formal data deliverables.
Particular immediate skills that are required include the preparation of AR&M programme plans, AR&M Case, Reliability and Maintainability modeling utilizing Fault Tree Analysis, FMECA, RBD and RCM techniques.
